For some reason this post reminds me about my confidence issues, I’m not proud of that...

Gross. Worst car I ever drove was a 2009 Equinox that had been chain-smoked in. Felt like it was falling apart.

There is also a significant lack of a reverse gear on the display.

Well, this one has been smoked in as well. Also looks like somebody had a baby in the backseat and then crashed into everything that is possible to be crashed into.
At 50,000 miles, this thing feels like it’s dying. Loose and overly light steering, light brakes and it feels like it might rattle apart and kill me at any second.
The transmission is borked as well.

You’re really a Chevy with a CEL on the inside?
![]() 10/20/2016 at 22:22 |

So does the Roadmaster!
For a while it also insisted I had no oil or coolant, but now it’s decided those are all good.

My in laws threw a rod on theirs at 50k miles.

I drove a 2013 Captiva Sport with 13,000 miles that felt like it was falling apart. It hadn’t been chain smoked in, it was just a Captiva Sport. Also, the passenger window didn’t work, the remote locks didn’t work, the sunroof didn’t fully shut, and the breaks squealed, because when you are a cheap GM crossover these are fully typical things that happen around 10,000 miles.

Is it American-made?

It’s a GM product... so that light comes on like every 3 days? Check the ignition, maybe the seat belts, or check if it still has an engine.

Everything doesn’t work as intended.
Luckily, it’s not my car so I beat the shit out of it. As did everybody else who has ever driven it.... haha
